On Saturday 21 May, the Bears return home to Penrith Ice Palace after hosting Melbourne Ice in Brisbane last weekend. The Bears had two losses over the weekend with a 3-2 shootout loss on Saturday and a 3-1 loss on Sunday. 


Meanwhile, 2015 Goodall Cup champions Newcastle North Stars visit the Bearsden for the first time in 2016. Last weekend, they traveled to Melbourne and played 2 games against the Melbourne Mustangs. On Saturday they won 8-2 but lost 5-2 on Sunday, a dramatic turnaround. 


In 2016, the Bears are yet to win in regulation time. They have a shootout win against CBR Brave & shootout losses to Sydney Ice Dogs & Melbourne Ice. A regulation win must be around the corner! The game will commence at 5pm on Saturday 21 May at Penrith ice Palace. It is also the Fox Sports Game Of The Week with the game being screened on Fox Sports 3 at 4pm, Thursday May 26. As a result of the game being the Fox Sports game, there will be no live audio coverage of the game.
