For the third time this season, Sydney Bears take on CBR Brave. In their first meeting, the Brave defeated the Bears 6-3 in the Bears home opener. In the second game in Canberra, the Bears had their revenge, winning in a shootout 3-2. Bears return to Canberra on Sunday 29 May, still looking for their first regulation win after 7 games.
Last weekend, the Bears played 1 game against the Newcastle North Stars at Penrith. After leading 4-2, the Bears went down 6-4 on Saturday. On Sunday, CBR also played the North Stars.
